These are our 4 Miniature Pinschers. Kali was our first, Gretel was 2nd, Hansel 3rd and P-Nelop 4th. Incidentally pronunciation of #4's name should be "Penelope" but she actually answers to P-Nelop.

Hansel had pups with Kali and Gretel, both of them gave birth in July 2003. Gretel had four pups, all healthy, all had their tails cropped and ears docked and were sold to friends. Kali's litter was more problematic, and only one dog survived the first 24 hours. And that is P-Nelop.

Being that Kali was our first dog, we knew we'd keep a dog from her litter, we did not cut any ears or tail, and we never would dream of doing so again.
